Cyndi and Steve Mesmer founded The Art of Living Counseling Center in 2004. From the humble beginnings of a two person counseling practice, Art of Living has grown into a multi-faceted mental health center offering a bouquet of services through our eight licensed practitioners.
These offerings include but are not limited to individual, marital, family, child and adolescent. In addition we uniquely offer weekly groups as well as twice yearly professional trainings in Trauma Informed Narrative Group work.

Training

Autonomy

We Welcome Your Varied Professional Experience
LPC
Receive billing, insurance submissions, and supervision support as you accumulate hours toward sitting for their LCPC exam.
LCPC and LCSW
Choose between two options of support through the Art of Living Counseling Center.
Option 1
Join our team as an independent contractor. As part of the Art of Living team receive all the benefits listed above but remain responsible for your own billing, insurance, and scheduling. As a contractor you keep all proceeds through your practice and are only responsible for paying rent as part of the Art of Living team.
Option 2
Join our team as a fully supported Art of Living therapist. Receive all benefits listed above as well as administrative support. This option is great for LCPC/LCSW level therapist NOT wishing to take on the responsibilities of managing their own private practice but still wish to have the autonomy over their schedule and choice of clients. As a fully supported Art of Living therapist you will receive income based on a percentage per client.
